A powerful set of tools that helped me with setting clear goals. This tool has allowed me to get clarity on my priorities and triggered my current journey.

King, Warrior, Magician, Lover – Robert Moore (Amazon)
Understanding the four “core” masculine archetypes cleared up a lot of the fog in my inner world. Mastering these four archetypes is necessary for any leader, male or female.

Extreme Ownership – Jocko Willink (Amazon)
The most influential book on leadership I have had the pleasure of reading. Jocko Willink is an excellent model for “no bullshit” leadership and has provided a fundamental paradigm shift in my thinking.

Reinventing Organizations – Frederic Laloux (Website)
Along with Sociocracy and Holacracy, this book about management and organizational design provides solid mental models.

Entrepreneurship

The Personal MBA – Josh Kaufman (Amazon)
This business book gave me a kickstart as an entrepreneur, and taught me many timeless principles that I have used extensively.

The Lean Startup – Eric Ries (Amazon)
As an entrepreneur you have many assumptions. This book teaches how to ask and answer the critical questions as fast as possible. Especially useful for the product development process.

Rework – Jason Fried & David Heinemeier Hansson (Amazon)
Old corporate standards can go out of the window. Jason and David provide a new model for how to run companies. Not everything will work for you, but there are nuggets of gold for anyone who is willing to think out of the box.

Business Model Generation – Alexander Osterwalder (Amazon)
The business model canvas is very easy to understand and use, but the book is beautiful and contains plenty of examples on different types of companies. Highly recommended for entrepreneurs and investors.

All books by Seth Godin – Seth Godin
Timeless marketing wisdom for entrepreneurs in any category, Seth hits the nail on the head every time. Also make sure to subscribe to his newsletter.

A masterpiece that is a must-read for any creative.

A Technique For Producing Ideas – James Young (Amazon)
This little book gives you a solid 5-step method for generating new ideas.

Big Magic – Elizabeth Gilbert (Amazon)
A beautiful treatise about the magic of creativity.

The War of Art – Steven Pressfield (Amazon)
Do The Work – Steven Pressfield (Amazon)
Steven Pressfield has written several incredible historical fiction books, however his non-fiction books are painting a clear picture of the psychological hurdles we face when making art.

Spirituality and philosophy

Meditations – Marcus Aurelius (Amazon)
The classic journal of the stoic Roman emperor. This specific translation is excellent.

The Forty Rules of Love – Elif Shafak (Amazon)
A beautiful introduction to Rumi and the Sufi, this book has many pearls of wisdom embedded in several layers of remarkable storytelling.

Ram Dass (Website)
The spiritual teacher who got kicked out of Harvard during the psychedelic boom of the sixties, and then went to India where he found his guru. I highly recommend his audio lectures, and his books Be Here Now and Be Love Now.

Osho (Amazon)
A controversial character, but a wonderful spiritual teacher who revolutionized meditations and who has had a profound impact on my life.

Alan Watts (Amazon)
This is that british guy you hear talking in those electronic dance music tracks. He has beautiful teachings on non-duality.
