About the song
Every round of the verse plants a new seed: love, light, wisdom, peace, whatever wants to grow that day. When I sing it in circles, everyone brings their own word. You can too.
I wrote it in 2024, after closing the game studio I had run for twenty years. My whole life needed replanting. The song helped me through some dark days, focusing my attention on what I wanted to grow. I tend a vegetable garden with my family, and the two turned out to be the same work: sow, water, wait. Come rain or shine.
The recording keeps the song the way it lives in the circle: voice, acoustic guitar, bass and hand percussion.
